Problem:  Given the graph below, determine a cosine function that can be used to represent the graph.

The graph of a cosine function oscillating around the x-axis with a max value of 3 at -pi/4, 3pi/4, 7pi/4, and a min value of -3 at pi/4, 5pi/4, 9pi/4

\(y = 3 \cos\left(2x+\dfrac{\pi}{2}\right)\)
